The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant with the following prayers: "It is therefore most respectfully that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to allow this application and by setting aside the impugned summoning order dated 17.12.2016 consequently, quash the entire impugned criminal proceeding of Criminal Case No. 2335 of 2016 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC, PS Dhaulana, District Hapur (State Vs Mohd Haneef) pending currently in the court of Ld JM-Ist, Hapur, since the accused-applicant and the aggrieved opposite parties No. 2 to 5 have compromised their personal & private dispute vide a written compromise dated 16.2.2017 (Annexure No.) whereby & where under all of them have amicably settled their all the pending private disputes and therefore, continuation of said criminal proceeding have now become a clear abuse of the process of the court warranting quashing by this Hon'ble Court in exercise of its inherent power. And 5 Others .....Opposite Party(s) And by way of interim measure and during pendency of instant application, it is further prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to stay further proceedings of the Criminal Case No. 2335 of 2016 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC, PS Dhaulana, District Hapur (State Vs Mohd Haneef) pending currently in the court of Ld JM-Ist, Hapur, otherwise he shall suffer irreparable loss." 5. Vide order dated 6.3.2017 it was directed to verify the compromise annexed as annexue no. 4 to the affidavit by the court concerned. As per office report dated 10.9.2025 the report regarding same has not been received. 6. This matter is reported by the office through the report dated 03.3.2025 of Registrar (J) (Listing) that it is likely to be infructuous. 7. Perused the records. 8. Since there is no one appearing on behalf of the applicant(s) to press this application U/s 482 Cr.P.C., the matter being likely to have become infructuous by efflux of time. 9. The present application is dismissed as infructuous. 10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 11.
