The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 15 of 2024 arising out of Gumla P.S. Case No. 234 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 21(a), 22(a), 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh, No. III, learned Additional Sessions Judge-V-cum- Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Gumla. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 10323 of 2024 by order dated 09.12.2024. 4. On 22.06.2024, between 8:30 P.M. to 09:45 P.M., Gumla Police apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused persons. On search, 5.52 grams of brown sugar was recovered from their possession. 5. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for about one year. 6. Mr. Prabir Kumar Chatterjee, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 7. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh, No. III, learned Additional Sessions Judge-V-cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Gumla in connection with N.D.P.S.
