Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following relief:- “a. That present petition may very kindly be allowed and impugned order/ judgment dated 31.08.2020 (Annexure P-8) passed by Ld. Additional District Judge, Sunder Nagar, District Mandi, in Civil Misc. Appeal No.21/2020 titled as Sh. Khazana Ram Versus Sh. Nagu Ram may kindly be quashed and set aside.” 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the learned Appellate Court, in terms whereof, the order passed by the learned Trial Court in an application filed under Order 39, Rule 1 and 2 of the Civil Procedure Code was partly modified. 3. When this case was taken up by this Court on 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:27260 21.09.2020, the following order was passed:- “ CMPMO No.373 of 2020 & CMP No.9554 of 2020 Notice, returnable within six weeks on taking steps within a week. Reply, if any, to the application be filed before next date of hearing. In the meanwhile, parties to the lis are directed to maintain status quo qua nature and possession of the suit property. Copy Dasti.” 4. The status-quo order that was passed by this Court is in vogue for the last almost five years. 5. In this view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the stand of respective parties, these proceedings are closed, but with the observation that the order that has been passed by this Court on 21.09.2020, shall remain in force during the pendency of the civil suit and the learned Trial Court shall make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. 6.
