HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - C No. - 8885 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE PANKAJ BHATIA, J.
1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party No. 2 i.e. District Magistrate, Balrampur to conduct the enquiry in pursuance of application dated 29.04.2025 filed by the petitioner before him, as contained in Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition."
2. The complaint made by the petitioner, contained in Annexure No. 1 to this petition, appears to be against the Pradhan and Secretary. The available reports show that the removal of the Pradhan is governed by the provisions of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act. Even if the allegations contained in the application were not vague and substantiated, a writ of mandamus cannot be issued for deciding such an application.
3. The petition lacks merit and it is, accordingly, dismissed. September 10, 2025 Haseen U. Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ajey Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. (Pankaj Bhatia,J.)
