Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel, who appears for State-opposite parties no.1 to 4. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "(1) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari thereby quashing the impugned notice dated 22.7.2025 issued by the opposite party no.3 contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition, in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties not to take any coercive measure or make any recovery proceedings against the petitioner in pursuance of the aforesaid impugned notice dated 22.7.2025, in the interest of justice. 3. We have gone through the show cause notice dated 22.07.2025 asking the petitioners to submit their objection within thirty days. In case of failure to do so, it shall be presumed that they have nothing to say in this regard. The petitioners were also directed that in case they were not contesting the issue, they may deposit the penalty proposed to be imposed against them. 4. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to file their objections to the show cause notice dated 22.07.2025 within a week from today. If such objections are filed, the Additional District Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Vivek Kumar Mishra, Girish Kumar Tiwari Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Santosh And 4 Others .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Revenue Deptt. Lko. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) Magistrate (City East), Lucknow, who has issued the show cause notice, shall consider the same and then pass a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of three weeks thereafter.
