This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, who is apprehending arrest in connection with Jorhat P.S Case No. 357/2025, under Sections 468/471/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3. The allegation in the FIR, the two accused persons named, including the present accused had a tenancy agreement with the informant and in 2016, they manufactured a forged tenancy agreement between the parties and for which he lodged a complaint to the authority. 4. It is also alleged that the accused persons have threatened him to withdraw the complaint. On 24.07.2025, the present petitioner was granted interim pre-arrest bail with conditions. 5. The case diary as called for has been received and relevant paragraphs were perused. One of the witnesses have stated about witnessing the quarrel between the present petitioner and the informant. However, pursuant to grant of interim, the accused has appeared before the I/O and his statement has been recorded, in which, he has denied about threatening to the accused. 6. In the given facts and circumstances, I do not deem it necessary to cancel the interim bail. Accordingly, the interim anticipatory bail granted vide order dated 24.07.2025 is hereby made absolute, subject of course, to the conditions that:- (i) the accused petitioner shall co-operate with the remaining investigation, (ii) he shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence, (iii) he shall not in any manner threaten or harass the informant or his family.
