The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking for the following reliefs: - “(i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding respondent nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life, limb, liberty and property of the petitioners by providing adequate security / police protection to the petitioners. (ii) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding respondent no. 2 to decide the representation dated 25.10.2025 (Annexure No. 1) and provide adequate protection to the petitioners. (iii) a suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper. (iv) award the cost of the petition to the petitioners.” 3.
