Heard Sri Amit Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri Manish Vikram Singh Chauhan, learned AGA for the State and Sri Sriniwas Bajpai, learned counsel for the alleged detenue who has filed a vakalatnama and a counter affidavit of the alleged detenue which are taken on record. 2. The instant petition seeking issuance of a writ of habeas corpus has been filed by the alleged detenue Anshika Devi through her father Upendra Kumar alleging that she is in illegal detention of the opposite party no. 4. 3. The alleged detenue Anshika Devi has appeared in person before the Court along with her counsel and has filed a short counter affidavit stating that her date of birth is 02.07.2007, she is major and she has married the opposite party no. 4-Chandra Prakash out of her own free will on 04.09.2025 as per Hindu rites and rituals and she has categorically stated that she has not been detained by the opposite party no. 4 or the opposite party no. 5. 4. Keeping in view the aforesaid statement made by the alleged detenue on oath, no case of illegal detention of the alleged detenue is made out.
