HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - A No. - 10331 of 2025 Court No. - 8 HON'BLE MANISH MATHUR, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed challenging order dated 25.02.2016 whereby petitioner was visited with the punishment under Rule 14(2) of U.P. Police Officers of the Subordinate Rank (Punishment & Appeal) Rules, 1991 whereby salary for seven days has been withheld. 3. There does not appear to be any cogent reason indicated in the present petition for challenging the order after almost nine years. 4. Learned State Counsel on the basis of instructions also indicates submits that no appeal has been preferred against the impugned order. 5. In view of the fact that petition has been filed highly belatedly after nine years, this Court does not find any good ground to grant any indulgence. 6. The petition, therefore, is dismissed at the admission stage itself. Parties to bear their own cost. September 9, 2025 Satish Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : O.P.
