Order on Board 09/09/2025 This appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (for short MV Act) has been filed appellant/driver and owner of motorcycle No. CG 09 JE 7738. The appeal is filed being aggrieved by the impugned award dated 29.02.2020 passed in Motor Accident
2 Claims Tribunal, Mungeli, District Mungeli, CG in Motor Accident Claims Case No. 30/2019. By the impugned award, the claims Tribunal has awarded compensation of Rs. 80,000/- to the respondent/claimant on account of injuries sustained by him in an accident that occurred on 19.12.2018. The appeal is not accompanied with a mandatory deposit of Rs. 25,000/- as envisaged in Section 173 of MV Act.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that appellants are not in touch and she is not aware as to whether the mandatory amount has been deposited or not.
