Mr. Bhagwat Mehra, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner is serving as Pharmacist in Department of Medical and Health. He was transferred vide order dated 09.06.2023 from Primary Health Centre, Kandhar, District Bageshwar to Primary Health Centre, Talla Ramgarh, District Nainital. 4. Coordinate Bench passed an interim order in favour of petitioner on 09.11.2023, pursuant to which petitioner is still serving at the transferred place. This writ petition was filed in 2023. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is due to retire in the month of December, 2025. 6. Since petitioner is serving at Bageshwar on the strength of interim order passed by coordinate Bench, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending. 7. Having regard to the peculiar facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority to permit the petitioner to retire from his present place of posting.
