The present petitioner was the 6th respondent in the said O.A., 2 (RNT,J & CGR,J W.P.NO.26489 OF 2003 ) 2. On 09.12.2024, the following order was passed: “It is informed that learned counsel for the petitioner is no more. 2. Issue notice to the petitioner to engage another counsel. 3. Post after four (04) weeks.” 3. On 06.01.2025, the following order was passed: “Await service of notice on the petitioner, which was issued due to death of petitioner’s counsel. 2. Post after three (03) weeks in the weekly cause-list.” 4. As per the office note, the notice was returned as unserved with an endorsement “no such person in the address, hence returned”. 5. The notice was sent to the address mentioned in the writ petition. 6. Even otherwise the petitioner is expected to follow the proceedings of the writ petition once he had filed the same and has to be vigilant. 7. There is no representation. 8. The matter pertains to the year 2003. 9. The Writ Petition is dismissed “for want of prosecution”. No order as to costs.
