Dhaulta, Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Case of the petitioner is that his father-Sh. Roshan Lal died in harness at the age of 36 years on 04.10.2009 while serving as Junior Basic Teacher. At that time, the petitioner was 6 years old. On attaining the age of majority, his mother submitted an application on 29.09.2021 seeking compassionate appointment for the petitioner as Class-IV employee along with requisite documents. Petitioner’s case was forwarded to Deputy Director, Elementary Education, Chamba on 02.11.2021. Petitioner -2- even represented on 07.01.2025 to the respondents/Competent Authority for consideration of his case for appointment on compassionate grounds. His grievance is that till date his case for employment on compassionate ground has not been considered. 3. Looking to the nature of the grievance raised in this writ petition, it would in the interest of justice to direct Competent Authority to consider and decide the employment assistance case of the petitioner highlighted by the petitioner in the aforesaid representation dated 07.01.2025 (Annexure P-9) in accordance with law and as per applicable policy within a period of six weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
