Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Ashok Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for respondent No.7. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the sale deed executed by petitioner No.1 in favour of respondent No.3. 3. The contention is that on the same date, petitioner No.2 had executed a gift deed in favour of petitioner No.1, who is the wife of petitioner No.2 and on the same date, a sale deed was executed by petitioner No.1 in favour of respondent No.3 and she is not even aware of what sale deed was executed. 4. Irrespective of the contention, the main relief sought by the petitioners is a quashing of a registered sale deed, which cannot be done in exercise of powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. 6. However, the petitioners would be at liberty to take such steps before the Civil Court, as may be advised, in accordance with law.
