Heard Ms. Nisha Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Sikha Singh, learned A.G.A.-I for the State. 2. By means of the instant petition, the petitioner has challenged the validity of an order dated 18.08.2025 passed by the District Magistrate, Barabanki in Case No.1999 of 2025, under Section 5(A) of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955. 3. The learned A.G.A. has raised a preliminary objection that the applicant has got a remedy of filing a revision against the aforesaid order before the Session Court. 4. Confronted with the aforesaid objection, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that she does not want to press the writ petition and she seeks a liberty to file a revision. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by observing that in case the petitioner files a revision against the impugned order, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
