Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6, based on the report of the Tahsildar, Vilathikulam, dated 29.07.2025, submitted that encroachments have been identified in the subject land and since the subject land is the State Highways property, a report has also been submitted to the State Highways Authorities for removal of encroachments. ____________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.25977 of 2023 3. In view of the said submission, it is for the Highways Authorities to initiate appropriate enforcement action for removal of encroachments in the Highways properties, based on the report of the Tahsildar, Vilathikulam, dated 29.07.2025 or by conducting inspection or survey independently. 4.
