Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 10 of 2025 arising out of Chouparan P.S. Case No. 299 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 64/351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Hazaribag. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 11030 of 2024 by order dated 08.01.2025. 4. On 17.08.2024 at about 3.00 p.m., petitioner is alleged to have raped the victim. 5. Report regarding the stage of the trial earlier called for, has been received. It appears that out of six charge sheeted witnesses, two witnesses have been examined and the trial is likely to be concluded within eight months. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
