Ch. Gautam. The learned counsel for the said respondents on instructions has submitted that the respondents will not stand in the way if the disputes are amicably settled. 2. Learned counsel for the appellants also submitted that the appellants are also ready to amicably settle the disputes. 3. The report filed by the Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) and the Superintendent of Police, North Garo Hills, Resubelpara are taken on record. 4. Since the said authorities are in seisin of the matter and an appropriate direction has been passed by the Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) with regard to maintaining peace and tranquillity, we dispose of this writ appeal by directing the parties to abide by the decision of the Additional District Magistrate (Judicial). The police 2025:MLHC:1219-DB administration must ensure that no breach of peace takes place in the area. The parties are directed to approach the Secretary, Mediation Committee for referring their dispute to mediation within two weeks from date. The Secretary, DLSA is directed to appoint a mediator in consultation with the Chairperson of the Mediation Committee from the list of empanelled mediators to resolve the dispute between the parties amicably. All notices regarding the mediation proceeding shall be served upon the Advocate- on-Record for the parties which shall be deemed to be of service upon the parties themselves. 5.
