Islam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. 2. By way of this impleading application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of Smt. Pomi Baruah, ACS, who has been transferred and assumed the charge of the Director, Higher Education Department, Assam, Kahilipara, PIN-781018. 3. It appears that during the pendency of the aforesaid contempt petition, the sole respondent has been transferred from his post and against the said post, the opposite party No. 2 has assumed charge. 4. In view of the aforesaid, it appears that the presence of the opposite party/respondent No. 2 in the instant contempt case is essential and necessary for the effective adjudication of the contempt proceeding in hand. 5. Accordingly, the impleadment application stands allowed. It is provided that Smt. Pomi Baruah, ACS, the Director, Higher Education Department, Assam, Kahilipara, be impleaded as respondent No. 2 in the instant contempt petition. 6.
