Learned advocate for the applicants as well as respondent No.2 place on record the terms of settlement, which has been arrived at by them. It appears that the husband and wife were before the Family Court, Jalna in a petition No. A-68 of 2020 and the compromise had taken place before the said Family Court, in which also there was stipulation that the informant will give consent for quashment of the F.I.R. and the proceeding for the offences punishable under section 498-A r.w. 34 of I.P.C. The said compromise deed, before the Family Court, Jalna, has been read and recorded by the Judge of the Family Court on 3.3.2025. The present terms of settlement are the reiteration of the said terms, which have already been read and recorded before the competent court of law. cran1076.21 -3- Both the parties have been identified by their respective advocates and therefore, there is no hurdle in accepting the terms of settlement for quashment of the proceedings. 2. In view of the above, application stands allowed. 3. The F.I.R. No. 70 of 2021 registered with Jawahar Nagar police station, Aurangabad for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 34 of I.P.C. and the consequential criminal proceedings, if any, arising of the aforesaid F.I.R. stands quashed and set aside to the extent of present applicants.
