There is no representation for the petitioner.
2. Mr. Narayan Dutt, Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand.
3. Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher, L.T. Grade. She was transferred from GIC Dugaddha to Government Girls Higher Secondary School More, Uttarkashi, vide order dated 26.6.2023. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner filed this writ petition.
4. Learned State Counsel submits that because petitioner had served at different sugam places continuously for more than 22 years, therefore, as per Transfer Act, he was liable to be transferred to durgam place. He thus submits that petitioner’s transfer was made strictly as per provisions of Transfer Act.
5. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned transfer order at this belated stage, as petitioner must have joined duties at the transferred place by now.
6. Even otherwise also, judicial interference with a transfer order has to be minimal. Transfer order can be challenged only if it is in violation of statutory provisions or is infected with malice. It is not the case here.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
