NATARAJ ORAL ORDER The petitioner has challenged an order bearing No.KPTCL/B16/B58/3414/04-05, dated 22.11.2007 by which, the respondent No.2 granted approval for the change of cadre of Assistant Executive Engineers (Non-Graduates) as Assistant - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:9633 WP No. 47201 of 2015 Executive Engineers (Graduates) on acquisition of B.E/A.M.I.E qualification subject to the conditions stated therein. 2. When this petition was listed for preliminary hearing in ‘B’ group, this Court queried the learned counsel for the petitioner, whether the petitioner is still in service. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and has retired from service. He was further asked whether granting any reliefs in this writ petition would result in any financial benefit to the petitioner. Learned counsel fairly submitted that this would not result in any financial benefit to the petitioner. 3. In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
