The present writ petition has been filed assailing the order dated 20.08.2024 issued by the Secretariat Department, Government of Manipur by which the respondent no. 4 was re- engaged as Principal, School of ANM/FHW, Imphal for a period of 1 (one) year. The learned Sr. counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that as the terms of engagement of the respondent 4 has already expired, no caused survive for adjudication in this writ petition and that the present writ petition can be disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the authorities to filled up the vacant post of Principal, School of ANM/FHW on regular basis strictly in terms of applicable rules. Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents endorsed the submission made by the learned Sr. counsel appearing for the petitioner. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of by directing the respondent nos. 1, 2 & 3 to filled up the vacant post of Principal of School of ANM/FHW on regular basis as early as possible strictly in terms of the applicable rules.
