Petitioner is serving as Headmistress in Government Primary School in District-Dehradun. Vide order dated 25.08.2023, she was transferred from Government Primary School, Tiparpur, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun to Government Primary School, Danda, Kalsi, Dehradun. Thus, feeling aggrieved by her transfer, she filed this writ petition. 4. Coordinate Bench passed an interim order staying effect and operation of the transfer order, on 06.09.2023. Pursuant to the said interim order, petitioner is still continuing at the original place of her posting. 5. Since petitioner has been permitted to stay at her original place of posting, pursuant to the interim order, for more than two years, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition, pending. 6. This Court thinks that ends of justice would be met, if petitioner is permitted to make representation to the District Education Officer (Elementary), Dehradun regarding her transfer. 2025:UHC:10076 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation regarding her transfer to the District Education Officer (Elementary), Dehradun within two weeks from today. If she makes representation within stipulated time, the concerned officer shall look into the matter and pass appropriate order, as per law, within six weeks thereafter. For a period of eight weeks or till decision is taken, whichever is earlier, status quo qua petitioner’s posting shall be maintained.
