GP FOR HOME The Court made the following Order: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has sent representation dated 18.03.2025 expressing threat of her life in the hands of respondents 6 to 11. It is submitted that the police have not conducted any enquiry nor the police have registered any case. It is submitted that the petitioner and the 6th respondent were married without consent of the parents of the 6th respondent. Thereafter, disputes were aroused and the respondents 6 to 11 are threatening the petitioner. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the police have not received any representation. 4. Considering the above submissions, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 5th respondent and on such receipt of representation, the 5th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner’s representation, in accordance with law and as per the procedure contemplated under Section 173(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, (for short, “BNSS”). 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.
