Baruah, learned counsel for the applicant / writ petitioner, who by means of this application has prayed for two corrections in the additional affidavit filed on 27.02.2025. Firstly, he has submitted that in the cause--title has been structured in the following manner: “In the matter of: An affidavit-in-opposition filed by the respondent no. 4, the Secretary, Revenue North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Dima Page No.# 3/3 Hasao District, Haflong.” He has submitted that the same was done by inadvertent error as it should have been “In the matter of: An Additional Affidavit by the petitioner”. Secondly, he has contended that in paragraph nos. 2, 4 & 5, the expression “New” has been inadvertently omitted while describing the Patta Number of the land in question. He has clarified that the said Patta has been written as Annual Khiraj Patta No. 19 in lieu of Annual Khiraj Patta No. 19 (New). Similarly, against Patta No. 97, it should have been Patta No. 97(New). Also heard Shri C. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, NHAC as well as Shri H. Sarma, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, Assam, who have not objecting in principle. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the aforesaid prayers are allowed.
