ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking following relief:
“to declare the inaction of the 1®' and 2'^'^ Respondents in not considering the petitioner’s application dated 03.08.2021 for compassionate appointment to the post Conductor or any suitable post despite the death of petitioner father while in service on 17.05.2021 due to COVID-19 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 1®' and 2'^'^ respondents to consider the petitioner’s application dated 03.08.2021 for compassionate appointment to the post of Conductor or any suitable post on the compassionate grounds and pass such other orders.” Heard Smt.Anuradha Kannedhara,

Petitioner has made application dated 03.08.2021 to 4'^ respondent claiming compassionate appointment and the same is stated to be Petitioner has submitted all required documents pending, including that of no objection from her mother. As no action is forthcoming, petitioner has submitted representations dated 22.02.2024, 26.02.2024 and 15.07.2024 to 2""^ respondent. however, the same are also not considered so far. Petitioner being married, claims benefit of compassionate appointment in terms of G.O.Ms.No.350, dated
30.07.1999. As respondents have not considered her applications, she preferred present writ petition.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that as claim made by petitioner has not considered and decided so far, it would suffice to direct the 5^^ respondent - District Collector, who is competent authority to decide her application.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 5 and learned standing appearing for other respondents submit that as petitioner’s applications are pending, the same will be considered in accordance with law.

3 CGR, J W.P. No.11131 of 2025 Petitioner has made application to 4*'^ respondent, as now the respondent Corporation is merged with Government, the 5^*^ respondent would be appropriate authority to consider and
6. pass appropriate orders on the said application. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing 4*'^ respondent to forward petitioner’s application dated 03.08.2021 along with the documents filed to 5”^ respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, who in turn shall consider the same and pass appropriate speaking orders based on eligibility of petitioner within a period of six weeks thereafter. It is needless to observe that in case respondents require any further documents or clarification, it is open for them to call for the same from the petitioner and petitioner shall furnish such documents before final decision is taken. No costs. As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending
