(2) This writ petition is filed by a private university seeking the following relief: “i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing/ commanding the respondent no. 2 to grant the No Objection Certificate/ Permission to the petitioner University for running the BNYS Course in terms of GO dated 07.10.2021 and 31.10.2023 in pursuant to which NOCs were given to Patanjali University and Himalayan University respectively. (Annexure No 8 and 9 of this writ petition.)” (3) Learned State Counsel, on instructions, however submits that petitioner has not submitted any information regarding infrastructure including land, building, faculty and non-teaching staff. He submits that if petitioner furnishes information on all relevant aspects to the State Government along with his application for NOC/ permission, only then decision can be taken in the matter. (4) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will furnish all desired information to the competent authority in the State Government within three weeks from today. (5) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make application for NOC to the competent authority. With his application, petitioner shall furnish all desired information, including 2025:UHC:11535 details about the infrastructure, manpower and other relevant aspects to the competent authority. If petitioner makes such application within three weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken within four months thereafter.
