The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent police to investigate the complaint dated 21.01.2025 on the basis of which FIR has been registered in Crime No.0019 of 2025 for offences punishable under Sections 329(3), 351(2) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that such direction cannot be issued by this Court. Once the FIR is registered, any directions which may be required can be given by the jurisdictional Magistrate before whom the FIR has been lodged. 4. Upholding the submission of the learned Additional Government Advocate, the writ petition stands - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7240 WP No. 3398 of 2025 dismissed, while reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate for any directions. 5.
