This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of under Sections 482 and 484 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Surksha Sanhita, 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences under Sections 498A, 506, 379/34 of IPC and under Section 3/4 of D.P. Act, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.114 of 2018, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Hazaribag. 3. Petitioner is the husband and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture. 4. The fact which cannot be lost sight of is that the chargesheet has already been submitted in this case. Once the chargesheet has been submitted there is no scope of arrest by the police. Since cognizance has already been taken, this case will fall within category-A as categorized by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation & Another, reported in (2021) 10 SCC 773. 5. Thus, the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Court, who will pass an appropriate order in terms of the judgment and direction passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation & Another, reported in (2021) 10 SCC 773. 6.
