Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 02.02.2018 whereby the amendment application filed by the tenant was rejected. 3. The suit is pending since 2015. Perusal of the order on record indicates that in the written statement, the petitioner had admitted himself to be the tenant and through amendment application wanted to deny the relationship, which was rightly rejected. As the P.A. Case No. 42 of 2015 is pending, directions are issued to decide the same, within a period of six months. If any adjournment is sought by any of the parties, a cost of Rs.5000/- shall be imposed in addition thereto, the respondent would also be at liberty to initiate fresh proceedings, if so advised, under the Tenancy Act of 2021, which shall be decided within 90 days, in case the same is filed. 4.
