This writ petition has been filed for grant of 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - following substantive reliefs: - A That a writ in the nature of Certiorari, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, may kindly be issued to quash and set aside the order dated 16.04.2025 (Annexure P-9). B. That this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, or directing the Respondents to consider the option submitted by the Petitioner to the department pursuant to the notification dated 10.06.2024 (Annexure P-6), and to fix and release the pension of the Petitioner under the Old Pension Scheme (OPS),the date from which the Petitioner became eligible along with all interest 6%..” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in case respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of relief prayed for by him lint of decision rendered in Ayodhya Dass Vs. State of H.P. and Ors . Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to this prayer. 4. Having regard to above submissions and without examining the merits of the matter, this petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/competent authority to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the aforesaid judgment and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law - 3 - within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
