COMMON JUDGMENT By means of these writ petitions, petitioners have challenged Notification dated 15.03.2024 issued by Secretary, Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. By the said order, the minimum wages of industrial employees were revised by exercising power under Section 4(1) of the Minimum Wage Act, 1948. 2. According to the petitioners, the prescribed procedure for revising the wages was not followed. Various other contentions were raised by the petitioners. Co-ordinate Bench vide order dated 17.06.2025, permitted the petitioners to make representation to the Secretary, Department of Labour against the impugned notification. 3. State counsel submits that the representation made by the petitioners pursuant to the said interim order was considered and rejected by the Secretary Labour Department vide order dated 31.07.2025. He 2 2025:UHC:11541-DB submits that petitioners have not challenged the order whereby their representation was rejected. He submits that, in view of the subsequent development, namely, rejection of the representation submitted by the petitioners, the reliefs claimed in these writ petitions do not survive. 4. Mr. Siddhartha Sah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file afresh with better particulars. 5. The writ petitions are, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file afresh challenging the order passed by the Secretary, Labour Department on the representation made by the petitioners.
