Surana, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the 2025:MLHC:1113 2 appellant/accused person, who has submitted that an appeal has been preferred by the appellant/accused person, being aggrieved by the impugned judgment and order dated 01.04.2025 and order of sentence dated 03.04.2025 passed by the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai in Special POCSO Case No. 30 of 2018. 2. However, while preferring the appeal, a delay of 169 days has occurred, for which condonation of such delay is sought for in this instant application. 3. Mr. H. Kharmih, learned Addl. PP appearing on behalf of the State respondent has no objection to the prayer made. 4. On consideration of the submission made and on perusal of the application, this Court is persuaded to allow the prayer made. Accordingly, the delay of 169 days in filing the related appeal is hereby condoned. 5. Misc. Case disposed of. 6. Registry to diarize the appeal and list it for admission after 3(three) weeks as prayed for by the learned counsel for the appellant/accused person.
