GP FOR HOME 3 SS, J W.P.No.13563 of 2025 The Court made the following Order: The instant Writ Petition has been filed seeking necessary direction for respondents 3 & 4 regarding their illegal and arbitrary issuance of notices dated 06.05.2025 and 10.05.2025 in connection with a Crime in which the petitioners are not at all involved. 2. Heard Sri Bhuvanagiri Subramanya Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri V. Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the official respondents. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the Police, upon calling upon the petitioners to the Police Station, are forcing to pay Rs.20,00,000/- alleging his involvement of a case of misappropriation of funds committed by younger brother of petitioners 1 & 2 and the son of petitioner No.3. 4. The written instructions filed the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home is placed on record. It appears that a crime was registered, bearing Cr.No.220/2024, under Section 66-D of I.T. Act-2000-2008 and other relevant sections, against one namely, S. Althaf, who is the brother of petitioners 1 & 2 and the son of petitioner No.3. 5. It is reported by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that the petitioners were served with notices under Section 35(3) of BNSS to appear before the Investigating Authority, in connection with this 4 SS, J W.P.No.13563 of 2025 case. The Police authority has submitted that they have not forced the petitioners to pay any amount of money. However, it is categorical submission of the respondent authorities that the petitioners are in no way connected or at fault with the alleged crime. 6. Taking note of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners and also taking note of the written submission of the respondent authorities, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
