The matter has been adjourned various times on the pretext of filing the rejoinder affidavit and lastly on 30.10.2025. On that day, two weeks’ more time was given to file rejoinder affidavit subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited in the Uttarakhand High Court Bar Association Advocates’ Welfare Fund. 4. It appears that it is an attempt on the part of petitioner not to appear in the matter. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 5. So far as cost is concerned, the same shall be recovered from the petitioner as the arrears of land revenue, and subsequently, the same shall be deposited in the original fund in which it was required to be deposited. 6.
