1. This petition is filed by the Hotel Association of Jaipur registered under the Rajasthan Non-Trading Companies Act, 1960. 2. The limited grievance raised in this petition is that members of the association had applied for conversion of the land for use in
[2025:RJ-JP:893] (2 of 2) [CW-690/2011] hotel industry. The Nagar Nigam had issued notice for seizure and demolition of the premises for reason of land being used for hotel purposes. On 11.03.2011 while granting time to respondent to file reply, the parties were directed to maintain status quo. 3. During pendency of the applications for conversion, the Nagar Nigam, Jaipur has been bifurcated into Nagar Nigam, Greater & Nagar Nigam, Heritage. 4. In view of the limited prayer, this petition is disposed of directing the respondent concerned to decide the applications for conversion of the members of the petitioner-association in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of hearing. 5. To avoid further delay and complications, the members who had filed their applications shall approach the office concerned within four weeks from today with a request for early disposal of the pending applications. The respondent shall make a sincere endeavour to decide the applications within nine months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
Taking into account that this Court vide order dated 11.03.2011 directed the parties to maintain status quo and the said interim protection shall continue till the decision is taken on the applications filed by the members of the association. 7. The petition is disposed of accordingly. (AVNEESH JHINGAN),J Chandan/HS/30
