AND DIST. KOKRAJHAR, BTC, ASSAM, PIN-783370 VERSUS PINKY MONDAL W/O SRI SIBU DUTTA D/O SRI ANIL MONDAL R/O KOKRAJHAR TOWN, WARD NO. 6(BAZAR) P.O., P.S. AND DIST. KOKRAJHAR, BTC, ASSAM PIN-783370 Advocate for the Petitioner : MS D DAS, Advocate for the Respondent : MR. M U MAHMUD, MR S ISLAM,MR S AFRIDI,MR S H MAHMUD Page No.# 2/3 BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR SHARMA ORDER Date : 18.09.2025 1. None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called. 2. Although the name of the learned counsel for the petitioner is reflected in the cause list, it appears from the previous orders dated 16.08.2024 and 29.07.2025 that none had appeared for the petitioner on those dates also. 3. On the last date that this case was listed i.e. on 02.09.2025, when appearance was made on behalf of the petitioner and as reflected in the said order dated 02.09.2025, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for some time to examine the aspect of maintainability of the instant petition and to submit relevant rulings in this regard. But today also, learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to turn up. 4. I have heard Mr. M.U Mahmud, learned counsel for the respondent and also perused the record. It appears that both the Ld. Courts below had consistently awarded maintenance to the respondent. But it appears that the present petitioner has not paid anything pursuant to such directions of the Ld. Courts below and moreover, there is no order of stay passed in the instant petition. 5. The law is explicit that no second revision lies after the first revision is finally disposed of at the instance of the party against whom it has been decided. Page No.# 3/3 6. On perusal of the contents of the instant petition, I do not find any extraordinary case having been made out to invoke jurisdiction under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. 7. Considering the above, this Criminal Revision Petition stands dismissed. 8. The respondent will be at liberty to take necessary steps as per law to secure the maintenance amount awarded to her. 9. Petition stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
