Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Chinmay Mishra, Advocate, who has filed his Power today on behalf of the respondents, which is taken on record. 2. This petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following main prayers:- "[I] Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties to make payment of outstanding security amount about to Rs.2,75,000/- which has been withheld by the opposite parties with regard to material supplied by the petitioner for Sewer Line work District Jail, Ambedkar Nagar, in the interest of justice." 3. There is a preliminary objection raised by learned counsel for the respondents that the petitioners had signed a contract with the respondents and in pursuance of the said contract, petitioners had supplied the material for Sewer Line work in District Jail, Ambedkar Nagar. The entire amount for which supply was made has been paid to the petitioners. The security amount has been withheld. 4. The petitioners have filed this writ petition, praying for release of the security amount, whereas learned counsel for the respondents has received instructions to say that S.I.T. has been constituted, which is enquiring into the matter on the basis of complaint made and as soon as the enquiry by the Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Vyas Narayan Shukla, Shailesh Kumari Counsel for Respondent(s) : Shishir Jain Inder Chand And Co. Govt. Contractor Lko. Thru. Proprietor Nitika Jain And Another .....Petitioner(s) U.P. Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Ltd. Lko. Thru. Chairman And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) S.I.T. is completed and work is found to be in order, a decision shall be taken with regard to release of the security amount. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners prays that petitioners have made a representation to the Project Manager, U.P. Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Limited, Ambedkar Nagar on 19.5.2025, which may be directed to be decided. 6. This petition is disposed of without entering into the merits of the case, with a direction to the Project Manager, U.P. Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Limited, Ambedkar Nagar to decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioners by a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
