Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Saharsh, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-State. 2. With the consent of the parties, the matter is being decided finally. 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioners have submitted their options for the benefit under the Old Pension Scheme in pursuance to the Government Order dated 28.06.2024 as their advertisement had been issued by the Public Service Commission prior to 28.03.2005. 4. Contention is that despite the petitioners having submitted their options the same are still pending before the respondent No.1 for consideration. 5. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to consider the options as submitted by the petitioners in pursuance to the Government Order dated 28.06.2024 and pass a reasoned and speaking order, which order shall be passed in accordance with law under relevant rules provided there is no legal impediment within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
