Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed by petitioner with following main prayer: "(I). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to make payment of outstanding security and deduction of bill amount about to Rs.20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lacs) along with other dues which has been withheld by the opposite parties with regard to material supplied by the petitioner for sewer work at Engineering College, Devgaon, Azamgarh, in the interest of justice.." 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had supplied the material for sewer work at Engineering College as ordered by the respondents. Although the amount for which the material was supplied has been released in favour of the petitioner, the security amount of Rs.20 lacs has been withheld for no reason. The petitioner has made a representation to the respondents but no heed has been paid till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law.
