PUBLIC PROSECUTOR THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T MALLIKARJUNA RAO Criminal Revision Case No.924 of 2007 ORDER: The Criminal Revision Case is filed questioning the order passed in Crl.A.No.187 of 2000 by confirming the order of the Joint Collector, Prakasam District, Ongole. The Joint Collector, Prakasam District, Ongole, has passed order dated 13.11.2000 in Rc.CS1/6-A/116/2000, confiscating 12.90 Quintals of rice and 2250 litres of kerosene oil or its value to the Government, while ordering release of remaining seized stocks or its value. 2. Heard learned Legal Aid Counsel for the petitioner/accused and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that revision petitioner died on 16.08.2009 and to that effect a photocopy of death certificate is also filed. Despite the lapse of more than 15 years, the legal representatives of deceased revision petitioner have not shown interest to come on record and pursue the matter. It seems that the legal representatives of deceased revision petitioner have no interest to pursue the matter. 4. After considering the material on record, I find no illegality or perversity in the order passed by Joint Collector, Prakasam District, Ongole. Hence, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed.
