(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to extend the benefit of Police Instructions of the Government enhancing the age of retirement of the petitioner by two years being physical handicapped. Another prayer has been made to issue a writ of prohibition, restraining the respondents from retiring the petitioner from service at the age of 60 years and allow him to continue in service upto the age of 62 years. Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the decision dated 26.11.2014, vide which the Policy was withdrawn with regard to the age of retirement of petitioner.
