Petitioners are accused in Crime No.121/2024 of Maddur Police Station, Mandya, registered for offences punishable under Section 447, 504, 341, 354(B), 323, 324, 506 and 34 of IPC. 3. The learned Sessions Judge vide order dated 20.09.2024 in Crl.Misc.No.591/2024 was pleased to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. They were directed to - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7795 CRL.P No. 1754 of 2025 appear before the concerned Court within 15 days from the date of the order. Since they did not appear within the said period, they filed an application for extension of time. The said application seeking extension of time has been rejected by the learned Sessions Judge. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that due to unavoidable circumstances and bonafide reasons, petitioners could not appear before the Court within the stipulated time and avail the benefit of anticipatory bail granted by the learned Sessions Judge. 5. Considering that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Judge and to meet the ends of justice, time granted to the petitioners to appear before the Jurisdictional Court can be extended. Accordingly, the following:- ORDER i) Petition is disposed of. ii) Petitioners are directed to appear before the concerned Court within one week from today. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:7795 CRL.P No. 1754 of 2025 iii) Condition No.1 in Crl.Misc.No.591/2024 dated 20.09.2024 is accordingly, modified. iv) All other conditions shall be intact and be complied strictly by the petitioners.
