According to the petitioner, he is serving as Scientific Assistant on contract in Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board since 2010 and earlier he was engaged through an outsourcing agency as Scientific Officer. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: - “I. Issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to grant regular appointment/regularized the services of the petitioner on the post of Scientific Assistant for which the petitioner is fully qualified and his discharging duties for almost 20 years.” 6. Since petitioner has made a representation to the Competent Authority, which is on record as Annexure-7 to the writ petition, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Member Secretary, Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board to take decision on the representation dated 30.06.2025 submitted by the petitioner, as early as possible, preferably within three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
