Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khukhra P.S. Case No. 06 of 2024, corresponding to POCSO Case No.71 of 2024, for the offences registered under Section 366A of the I.P.C. and cognizance has been taken under Sections 366A of the I.P.C. and Sections 8/10 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed away the 17 years old minor daughter of the informant with the intention to marry her. Statement of the victim was recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. in which she has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish. Age of the victim has been stated to be 17 years. This appears to be a case of adolescent love affair between the parties. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih, in connection with Khukhra P.S.
