Heard Sri Mayankkar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri G. D. Bhatt, learned AGA for the State. 2. By means of this petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the police officials of Police Station Umri Begumganj, District Gonda to return the two Hard Disks, which contain the CCTV recording of the occurrence, which were forcibly taken away by the opposite party no.7 on 09.04.2025 from the petitioner' house, in the interest of justice. (ii). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the opposite parties to initiate suitable inquiry/investigation against the opposite party no.7 for not including the two Hard Disks, which contain the CCTV recording of the occurrence, in the investigation of the FIR No.85/2025 under section 140 (1), 140 (2), 119 (1), 127 (7), 191 (2), 115 (2), 352, 351 (3) B.N.S. lodged at Police Station Umri Begumganj, District Gonda, in the interest of Justice." 3. Sri Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner has requested that he may not permitted to not press this petition at this stage and liberty may be given to the petitioner to avail the appropriate remedy before the appropriate court of law/authority for redressal of his grievances. 4. Considering the aforesaid request, this petition is dismissed being not pressed at this stage with the aforesaid liberty.
