Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents no. 1 & 2, Shri Ran Vijay Singh, learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 and Dr Uday Veer Singh, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4. 2. With the consent of learned counsels appearing for the contesting parties, the writ petition is finally being decided. 3. The petitioners who are all meritorious reserved category candidates ( MRC) selected in the 68500 recruitment of Assistant Teachers are before this Court claiming fixation of seniority in terms of Circular dated 10.10.2024 issued by the respondent no. 2, a copy of which is annexure 1 to the writ petition. 4. The contention is that once the aforesaid Circular has been issued for fixing seniority of the MRC candidates, consequently there cannot by any occasion for the respondents to sit over the matter and not process the seniority list. 5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents states that matter is being processed. 6. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to process the seniority of the MRC candidates in accordance with law and relevant rules considering his own order dated 10.10.2024. 7. The respondents shall make an endeavor to process the matter within the period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. August 28, 2025 J. K.
