HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 5079 of 2025 Court No. - 17 HON'BLE SUBHASH VIDYARTHI, J.
1. Heard Shri Anurag Shukla, the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Although, numerous prayers have been made in the instant application, after advancing submissions at great length and pressing numerous points, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal of the SCC Revision No.59 of 2010.
3. Since the Revision is pending since the year 2010, it is necessary to ensure the ends of justice that the revision be decided expeditiously.
4. Accordingly, the instant application filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is hereby disposed off by issuing a direction to the Additional District Judge, Court No.05, Lucknow or to any other Court in which SCC Revision No.59 of 2010 is presently pending, to decide the revision as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties and by fixing dates at short intervals.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that some miscellaneous applications are pending in revision and those also be disposed of. It goes without saying that the revisional court will dispose of all miscellaneous applications prior to deciding the revision finally and if possible, all the applications in the revision can be decided in quick succession by holding hearing of the applications and revision continuously.
