HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW APPLICATION U/S 482 No. - 7271 of 2025 Court No. - 15 HON'BLE AJAY BHANOT, J. By the impugned order dated 20.05.2025 the application filed under Section 311 Cr.P.C. by the applicant has been declined on the footing that the applicant had sought repeated adjournments and had declined to cross examine P.W. 3 on various dates. Costs were also imposed upon the applicant from time to time. The applicant and his counsel were granted opportunities to cross examine the witness on 11.11.2021, 31.08.2022 and 20.09.2022. However, the applicant and his counsel did not avail the said opportunities. The criminal case was registered in the year 2011 and it is high time that the trial is concluded. Clearly the applicant was adopting dilatory tactics and was impeding the progress of the trial. No indulgence is warranted from this Court in the facts and circumstances of this case. The impugned order does not suffer from any infirmity. The Application U/S 482 is accordingly dismissed.
